Bart’s and the London Sailing Club introduces students to the magnificent world of sailing, and provides opportunities for those more experienced to continue to develop their skills, all within a fun and friendly club environment.

 

Our activities include weekend trips into the beautiful Essex countryside and to the sailing centre of the world, the Solent. We also run discounted RYA level 1 and 2 courses for people wanting to learn more and gain recognised qualifications. We train and race throughout the year in team racing competitions against other Universities.

 

What you get for your subs: Membership of the esteemed Royal Burnham Yacht Club, use of club boats and trips to Burnham-on-Crouch organised for you with discounted drinks and accommodation. Membership of The Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre and use of their boats and equipment throughout the year. The chance to train with and race for the club in BUCS events. Regular trips on the beautiful yacht Polly Agatha. Discounted crewing on Tall Ships and a discounted sunshine sailing holiday.
